Micro-WILs pair between 50 and 150 students with experts from the mobility industries, offering an immersive experience in their specific mobility sector. These 2- to 7-hour activities, which are free and offered online or in person, allow students to discover the realities of the sector, familiarize themselves with the diversity of careers in the industry and the skills sought, and make informed career choices. During the 2024 fiscal year, CMAI hosted 477 participants across 31 micro-internships.
Why host a micro-WILs? For organizations, hosting a micro-internship provides an opportunity to share knowledge on relevant topics and interact with many students. Additionally, they benefit from engaging with large groups of students—the individuals who represent the future workforce.
